Wanda Sykes is indeed standing up against Will Smith and his stunning quarrel with Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.
On Thursday, while performing at her standup gig in Orlando Sykes uncovered that she has still not completely handled the episode. For those unversed, Sykes was one of the three female hosts at the 94th Academy Awards close by Amy Schumer and Regina Hall.
During her standup, through ET Canada, Sykes unveiled, “I’m actually damaged,” and added, “I can’t discuss it. I get close to home.”
She proceeded to communicate how she felt after the occurrence occurred and Smith wouldn’t leave the premises and, surprisingly, won the Best Actor Award only minutes after the fact, “I was unable to accept he was all the while staying there, similar to an a**hole,” and kept on kidding, “Shouldn’t you be staying there with an attorney or LAPD, motherf**ker?”
Afterward, Sykes noted, “I want to believe that he gets his s**t together. Up to that point, f**k him.”
Since the squabble, Smith has released a conciliatory sentiment for his activities and following his public articulation, the entertainer left his situation at the Academy as an elector to communicate his lament.
The Academy prohibited Smith from the Award service for the following 10 years as a type of disciplinary activity for his improper way of behaving on the greatest night in Hollywood.
For those unversed, at the 2022 Oscars, when moderator Chris Rock poked a tacky fun at Smith’s better half Jada Pinkett Smith’s immune system infection, the Men in Black entertainer stood up and slapped the comic in front of an audience while the show was live communicating around the world.
