On the second day of the weekend-long Star Wars Celebration event, we got our first glimpse at Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order. The PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC versions are planned to be released in 2023.

Cal Kestis, the galaxy’s least fascinating Jedi (particularly when Cere Junda is nearby), is back, kicking space fascists in the shins with the assistance of his exceedingly attractive droid sidekick BD-1. Cal tries to restore the Jedi following the horrific Order 66 in the Jedi: Fallen Order trilogy.

The sequel takes set five years after the first game and is characterised as a “third-person, narrative-driven action-adventure game” once again. The sequel, according to director Stig Asmussen, will have several next-gen features, like ray-tracing capability and speedier load times.

The sequel to EA’s finest single-player game in the previous five years, as well as two more new Star Wars titles from Titanfall 2 creator Respawn Entertainment, were unveiled in January.
