Jason Alexander, Britney Spears’ ex-husband, was arrested in Thousand Oaks on Thursday afternoon after allegedly trespassing during her wedding.

According to Capt. Cameron Henderson, deputies were called at 2 p.m. to a report of a trespasser at a home in the 2300 block of White Stallion Road.

When the deputies arrived on the site, they came upon Alexander, who was subsequently detained for an outstanding warrant in another county, according to Henderson. During the encounter, no one was hurt.

The captain claimed he had no idea what the warrant was for or where it came from. As of late Thursday afternoon, deputies were still looking into the trespassing component of the call, he added.

Spears married her six-year partner, personal trainer Sam Asghari, on Thursday.

About 100 people attended the event, including Spears’ older brother, Bryan. According to TMZ, the singer’s estranged mother, father, and sister, Jamie Lynn, were not present. The arrest took place on a street where Spears lives.

The wedding takes place less than a year after Spears was released from a long-running conservatorship, during which she was supposedly told she couldn’t marry or have children with Asghari. In September, the pair got engaged, and the conservatorship ended in November.

In 2004, she married Alexander, a childhood friend, but the marriage was called off 55 hours later.
