Chris Rock is responding to Jada Pinkett Smith after she said he should reconcile with Will Smith over the Oscars slap.

We reported last week that following their notorious Oscars slap in March, Jada Pinkett Smith was pressing for reconciliation between her husband Will Smith and comedian Chris Rock. Rock’s thoughts on Jada’s recent statements have now been known.

A source told that Rock isn’t paying attention to Jada’s reconciliation “plea.”

“He’s not concerned with the Smiths at the moment,” the source said. “He’s touring and he’s preparing for a comedy special.”

Rock is a genuine person, according to the insider, who does not make planned manoeuvres and is not a member of any Hollywood culture. He’s not thinking about the Smiths right now; instead, he’s thinking about himself.

This comes after Jada officially addressed the slap on her internet talk programme “Red Table Talk” last week for the first time.

“Now, about Oscar night, my deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile,” she said. “The state of the world today, we need them both. And we all actually need one other more than ever.”

“Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years, and that’s keep figuring this thing called life together,” Jada added.

Will stormed the stage and slapped Rock at the Oscars after the comedian made a joke about Jada being bald in which he compared her to the character G.I. Jane. This didn’t sit well with Will because Jada suffers from alopecia, a condition that has made her lose her hair.
