
Corie Henson and Todd Weiser are leaving Warner Bros. Discovery
- Corie Henson is the new head of unscripted programming for TBS, TNT and truTV.
- She led and oversaw all creative development and production for all three cable brands.
- Brett Weitz stepped down as general manager of TNT, TBS and TruTV last month.
Corie Henson served as executive vice president, head of unscripted programming for TBS, TNT and truTV. She led and oversaw unscripted creative development and production for all three cable brands after joining WarnerMedia in December 2019.

TBS’ The Cube and Wipeout, TNT’s Shaq Life, and truTV’s Big Trick Energy were among the competitive shows Henson handled.
Henson was previously Executive Vice President of Alternative Entertainment at Fox Broadcasting Company, where she handled all development and current brands, including the smash shows The Masked Singer and MasterChef.
Brett Weitz, the general manager of TNT, TBS, and TruTV, stepped down last month.
Since 2019, Weiser has served as Food Network and Cooking Channel’s Senior Vice President of Programming and Development. Weiser previously worked at Animal Planet as the director of programme development.

In 2013, he joined Food Network as Vice President, Programming and Development, where he helped to establish shows like Holiday Baking Championship and Restaurant: Impossible, as well as the relaunch of Restaurant: Impossible.
Following the completion of the WarnerMedia and Discovery merger in April, Warner Bros. Discovery has begun lowering costs as part of a pledge to reduce its balance sheet by $3 billion by 2023. As part of the cost-cutting initiative, layoffs were expected.
