David Beckham takes a trip to Venice with his daughter Harper, see photos 

• David, 47, wrapped his protective arm around his 10-year-old daughter Harper.
• The couple have been enjoying a trip to Venice with their young princess.

David Beckham, like any good father, is squandering every opportunity to spend quality time with his daughter Harper.

And now, during his trip to Venice on Sunday, the former footballer has taken his young princess for a taxi-boat ride.

As they took in the views of the magnificent surroundings, David, 47, wrapped a protective arm over his 10-year-old daughter.

After he shared a cute video of his youngest manipulating strings that let the character’s ears move up and down, David carried her novelty straw hat in hand, making sure it didn’t blow away.

Not only that, but David kept a close eye on Harper as she boarded the boat, giving her the nicest seat in the house, on a plush-looking cushion.

In a fine blue shirt with the buttons open and the sleeves pulled up and a slick pair of brown trousers, he cut a smart figure.

The athlete flaunted his numerous tattoos and sported luxury sunglasses while carrying a massive Hermes Birkin black leather bag that would have cost him tens of thousands of pounds.

The footballer and his daughter have been enjoying gondola rides, visiting the Fenice theatre, and eating 9 a.m. gelatos during their trip, which has primarily been documented on David’s social media.
