Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert make their first public appearance since announcing their engagement

It’s the first time the dancers have been seen since they announced their engagement on June 2.

As they walked about in the California sun, the gorgeous couple clutched each other’s hands.

As they wandered about Los Angeles, the attractive couple maintained their looks comfy and casual.

Erbert was dressed in a black jumpsuit with a low V-neck and cuffed ankles. She donned a pair of strapped tan open-toed sandals.

The dancer wore her dark hair in a sleek updo with a middle part. Her jewellery was basic, consisting of a short necklace and gold hooped earrings, which added interest to her otherwise plain attire.

Her left shoulder was casually draped with a large black purse, and black sunglasses shielded her eyes from the strong light.

The Emmy winner wore a fairly casual but well-dressed suit as well. He was dressed in a white short-sleeved shirt with three easily adjustable buttons at the top.

Hough wore the top with a pair of brown slacks and grey and white sneakers. The actor completed his ensemble by wearing a cap backwards on his head and aviator sunglasses.

After their proposal was publicly announced to the world, the pair appeared at ease and thrilled in the spotlight.

Hough and Erbert first met on Julianne Hough’s tour in 2014, and crossed paths again in 2015 when they were both professional dancers on Dancing With The Stars.
