Following the release of the much-anticipated teaser for Dwayne Johnson’s DC flick Black Adam, fans have been reacting all over the internet and complementing the mood of the upcoming picture. Johnson had published many behind-the-scenes photos from the production of the film even before it was released, setting the standard to the sky as he displayed images of himself in spectacular superhero attire.

The actor recently congratulated fans on Twitter for their enthusiastic response to the trailer. He penned, “Two words. #BlackAdam THANK YOU around the world. A staggering 98% POSITIVE GLOBAL REVIEW for our BLACK ADAM trailer!” exclaims the speaker. The Rock followed by adding a slew of emojis to convey his delight, saying, “A new era in the DC Universe is ushering in. Passion. Disruption. And ALWAYS giving the fans what they want.” Johnson signed off the thank-you email with “BA,” a reference to his namesake character Black Adam, and a lighting emoji, his anti-insignia heroes.
The picture, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, is due to hit theatres on October 21 and has been termed the DCEU’s game-changer. Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Quintessa Swindell, Pierce Brosnan, Sarah Shahi, Uli Latukefu, Marwan Kenzari, Mohammed Amer, James Cusati-Moyer, and Bodhi Sabongui star alongside Johnson. It will give life to a spin-off based on the successful film Shazam!, which was intended to feature a Black Adam appearance in 2019, but Johnson decided to give the character his own film instead.
