  • KARACHI: Team Muhafiz, Pakistan’s most anticipated native animated series, debuted with its first episode, Parchi.
  • The animated series is a collaboration between Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) and a private television station.
  • The first episode has been shared on Instagram

Sharing the first episode on Instagram, the military’s media wing wrote:

“Watch Team Muhafiz (TM), get an introduction, as they come face to face with a dangerous gang of extortionists. The gang harasses the shopkeepers to pay their dues. Will the Team be able to fight back, or will injustice prevail?”

Some of Pakistan’s greatest performers from the showbiz business have supplied voiceovers for the characters in TM.

Parinaaz, the team caption, is played by Sajal Ali, while Farman is played by Ahsan Khan.

Ali also released a trailer for the first episode and her thoughts on it.

“I’m playing the role of Team Captain: Parinaaz. It was one of my most unique experiences to do the voice over of a Pakistani animated series,” she wrote.
