Hayden Christensen’s daughter helped him prepare for Obi-Wan Kenobi

• Hayden’s 7-year-old daughter Briar Rose helped him prepare for his return as Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader) in Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi.
• When he returned to The Tonight Show, she was his first lightsaber partner.

Hayden said, “I’m still waiting” “I may show her prequels shortly… Some sequences may be skipped.”

Hayden’s first appearance as Obi-Wan Kenobi in almost 17 years comes in The Rise of Skywalker and with it came thrilling new discoveries, like seeing people on set react to seeing Darth Vader.

“You see, sort of, the change in their demeanor, you know? People who are usually very confident become a little more timid and shy,” he joked. “It’s good fun.”

He added, “It’s an amazing costume to get to put on. It’s an honor to get to wear it.”

Christensen played Anakin Skywalker in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.

The actor was tight-lipped about the Disney+ series’ dramatic June 22 climax, but he did disclose one sequence he enjoyed filming alongside Ewan McGregor.

“There’s very emotional confrontation between Obi-Wan and Vader that was a real privilege to get to film with Ewan,” he said. “I love the man to bits.”
