Hunger Games: Josh Andres Rivera & Rachel Zegler will share screen time

Josh Andres Rivera and Rachel Zegler, the ‘Hunger Games’ prequel will be noteworthy since the couple will be seen acting together in the film.

Rachel has been enlisted to help Lucy Gray, a young hailing from poor District 12, with her essay. Francis Lawrence will return to helm the film, which will be released in theatres globally on November 17, 2023. Lawrence’s co-producers Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson are also returning to the franchise.

After it was reported that her boyfriend Josh Andres Rivera will feature opposite her in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Rachel turned to social media to say she’s “never been prouder” of him.

She commented next to a repost of the casting announcement, “Never been prouder of someone in my life lemme tell you.”

After appearing opposite one other in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, Rachel and Rivera began dating.

In the film, Rachel played Maria, Tony’s love interest, while Rivera played Chino, Maria’s would-be love interest who becomes the major adversary in the Sharks vs. Jets brawls.
