Jimmy Kimmel’s long-running talk show is coming to an end: This is why
- Jimmy Kimmel recently said that he is reconsidering the termination of his late-night talk show on television.
- Kimmel spoke on Variety’s Awards Circuit podcast on Friday, when he revealed that his contract with ABC will expire in 2023.
- He also discussed his future intentions in his interview.
“I wish I had known what I was about to do.” “There are times when I think, ‘I can’t do this anymore,'” said the 54-year-old.
“And I have moments when I think, ‘What am I going to do with my life if I’m not doing this anymore?” he added.
“It’s a pretty tough situation.” “There are also practical factors, as well as family and friend considerations, as well as coworker ones,” he continued.

For the uninitiated, Jimmy Kimmel, who serves as executive producer and series creator for his namesake show Jimmy Kimmel Live!, has been performing this show for the past 19 years, speaking on current topics and interviewing numerous celebrities.
It should be noted that this is not the first time Kimmel has considered ending his programme. He allegedly went all the way through in 2017.
