Another insider previously told the magazine that the actor is currently “focused on himself” and “definitely looking ahead and past this.”

“He’s seeking for positive and moving away from negativity,” the source claimed, adding that Depp is “glad” and “relieved” with the judgement.

“He’s thinking out what he does next,” the insider continued. He believes he has been vindicated.”

“He feels a big weight lifted off his shoulders,” the statement concluded. This has been going on for six years. It’s been extremely encouraging to hear from both men and women – he’s had a lot of great feedback from both.”

On June 1st, a jury found in Depp’s favour, awarding him $10.35 in damages for winning all three defamation allegations made against his ex-wife over an op-ed she penned for The Washington Post referring to herself as a domestic abuse victim.

Heard, on the other hand, won only one of her three defamation cases against Depp and was granted $2 million in compensatory damages.
