Finally, Johnny Depp’s representatives have responded to rumours that the actor had received a large sum of money for returning to the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ film series as Captain Jack Sparrow.

Following the actor’s victory in his defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard, there were rumours that he was working on a $301 million agreement for his potential return as the iconic Disney character. Unfortunately for Johnny’s followers, the rumour is untrue, as his representative revealed.

Just last week, there were rife rumours that the actor may soon return to theatres in a new movie as the infamous pirate.

Nearly four years after the actor and the production firm split ways, a source told that “Disney is really interested in patching up their connection with Johnny Depp.” They have a lot of faith that Johnny will accept their apology and reincarnate as his famous persona.

According to a source in the business, the organisation is drafting a $301 million contract as a formal apology and a plea for the actor to reprise his beloved role. Prior to the actor’s defamation trial against Amber Heard, “they went out to the actor and asked whether he would be interested in returning for another Pirates film or two,” according to the report.
