Heard’s lawyer now claims that the jury in the defamation case was “confused,” and that Depp, 58; benefited from his “power, fortune, and renown.”
She also stated that Heard intends to appeal the decision. Elaine Charlson Bredehoft, Heard’s attorney, stated on Today that “an unbelievable amount of evidence” that would have aided Heard’s case was suppressed during the trial.
