Justin Bieber took to his Instagram on Friday to share a three-minute video explaining the diagnosis.

Justin Bieber is infected with a deadly infection. The 28-year-old musician stated in an Instagram video posted on June 10 that the right half of his face is temporarily paralysed and that he will need to take time off work to heal. Justin revealed in the video below that he has Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which has affected the nerve in his right ear and caused paralysis.

“Obviously as you can probably see with my face. I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt syndrome and it is from this virus that attacks the nerves in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis,” In the video, he says. However, Justin is unable to blink his right eye in the video and can only grin with half of his face. It’s why the musician had to cancel a slew of shows the week before.

Justin apologised for cancelling the gigs in a video message to his fans, but said his illness is “pretty serious” and that he’ll need to take even more time off to recover. Justin went on to explain that he’s been doing face exercises and that he should be able to get back to normal soon. Justin, on the other hand, has no idea how long it will take. Meanwhile, Justin Bieber’s seven-leg, 130-show Justice World Tour kicked up in February, but a few dates were cancelled after he and his wife Hailey Bieber were both diagnosed with COVID-19.

Justin recently had to cope with a health concern with his wife Hailey Bieber, who suffered a stroke due to a blood clot in her brain. The model posted a YouTube video outlining her problem and diagnosis in detail in the hopes of assisting others who may be experiencing similar issues. Hailey has stated that she is now fully recovered.
