Kanye West’s fifth divorce attorney has quit

The divorce lawyer for rapper Kanye West has resigned, citing a “irreconcilable breach in the attorney-client relationship.”

After his previous attorney, Chris Melcher, was fired, the ‘Eazy’ rapper hired Samantha Spector to represent him in his divorce from Kim Kardashian just two months ago, but the legal expert has now filed a motion to be relieved as his counsel due to a “irreconcilable breakdown in the attorney-client relationship,” according to reports.

Samantha, who previously represented Nicole Young in her divorce from Dr. Dre, has served Kanye with the motion and interacted with him via email and post, as well as through his new attorney Deborah Hong, according to records obtained.

Just two days before a hearing in which Kim was deemed legally unmarried, Kanye sacked his former lawyer.

It was reported at the time that his relationship with Chris had become “extremely difficult,” with little communication between them, and it appears that the 44-year-old rapper may have been a difficult client to work with because he had expressed a desire to settle things with Kim at times, and a desire to fight at other times.

After making his family his top priority, Kanye is now “taking care” of himself and will be “removing himself from all the chaos,” according to the insider.
