Machine Gun Kelly is speaking up about his previous issues with mental illness in the midst of his relationship with Megan Fox.

After losing his father in 2020, the singer, real name Colson Baker, says he entered a “dark place” and made an attempt at suicide.

In their Hulu movie Life In Pink, MGK also discussed how he disliked leaving the room for days at a time.

“In order to get rid of everything, I flew to my father’s residence. This neighbour and I had this really strange encounter where he told me all these things that I didn’t want to hear “He states in the father’s movie. “That made me even more f[expletive] up because I couldn’t put an end to it. It got really, really, really dark and I wouldn’t leave my room.”

He went on, “When Megan left for Bulgaria to film a movie, I suddenly developed a pretty bizarre phobia. Like, I kept having crazy thoughts that I was going to be killed. One day, I just f——— snapped because I always slept with a shotgun next to my bed.”

He said, “I called Megan and said, ‘You aren’t here for me.'” “I’m freaking out on her in my room, and I put the shotgun barrel in my mouth while shrieking on the phone and screaming into the phone. When I try to cock the shotgun, the shell just jams as the bullet rises. Megan is practically silent.”

After this experience, the singer acknowledged, he gave up narcotics “for real this time.”
