Post Malone announces birth of his first child as he engaged his girlfriend

Post Malone has announced the arrival of his first child, a baby girl, on The Howard Stern Show, as he also revealed he’s now engaged.

Post Malone has announced the birth of his first child, as well as the fact that he is now engaged to the baby’s mother in a happy twist.

The 26-year-old rapper has had a lot of good news this week, including the announcement that he proposed to his girlfriend, who isn’t known to be in the public eye.

The rapper – real name Austin Post – beamed as he revealed his new life as a father on The Howard Stern Show on June 12, just two months after revealing he and his fiancée were pregnant.

“She’s my fiancée,” the musician hastily corrected the Hollywood chat show host when asked about his baby’s mother.

Post then proceeded to nonchalantly announce the birth of his daughter.

Post recounted his routine as he leaves home to go compose music in his studio two months after revealing he and his partner were pregnant.

“I went and I kissed my baby girl,” the rapper said.

Puzzled, Howard asked: “You’re referring to your girlfriend or you have a baby?”

“Nah, that’s my daughter,” Post clarified simply.

The musician then went on to explain the reason he and his girlfriend hadn’t announced their happy news officially was because he wants “to let her [his fiancée] make her own decisions”.

Speaking about the prospect of soon becoming a dad back in May, the Fall Apart singer told he was excited to embark on the “next chapter” in his life.

“I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and for since I could remember I was sad,” he told the publication.

“Time to take care of my body and my family and friends, and spread as much love as we can every day.”

The tattooed star has since shared how much becoming a father has meant to him, as he has been focused on taking care of things ever since he was young.

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Post said: “I think, as a kid, I was like four or five, and I had this little baby I would carry around everywhere… it was a baby doll.

“And I thought that was the coolest thing. I would take him around everywhere.

“And I don’t know how long that lasted. But my mom still has it. And I guess, Zane, I’m so pumped up.”

“I’m going to be a hot dad. DILF (Dad I’d Like to F**k)?” the rapper added excitedly.
