The royal family began the Platinum Jubilee celebrations on June 3 at St. Paul’s Cathedral with a thanksgiving service honouring Queen Elizabeth. Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William, and Kate Middleton arrived ahead of Harry and Meghan, who talked up on living as royals in a 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey. It was the first time in over two years that the three couples were seen together in public.
There was no eye contact between Prince William, 39, and Kate, 40, as they made their way to their front-row seats, and Prince Harry and Meghan, who were sat in the second row beside Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, and their husbands.
As they departed the service, there was no interaction between the Sussexes and the Cambridges. Before leaving, Harry and Meghan spoke with his cousins Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips on the steps of St. Paul’s Cathedral.
