Three males, including Roddy Ricch, were located inside the vehicle and detained. A loaded weapon with nine rounds of ammunition, as well as a high-capacity magazine, was also recovered by the cops. A private security company operating at the arena had noticed a handgun in a car entering a guarded area of the event, according to the spokesman.

Ricch and the other two males were charged with unlawful possession of an ammunition feeding device, criminal possession of a firearm, and possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device.

Ricch’s representative has not responded to E! News’ request for comment. The rapper is still being held in detention and will be arraigned soon.

The Governor’s high-capacity ball music event announced Ricch’s scheduled performance was canceled in a Twitter tweet later that evening.

“Unfortunately Roddy Ricch is no longer performing today,” they said.

In addition to Ricch, the three-day music festival’s Saturday programme includes Halsey, Flume, Tove Lo, Joji, and other well-known musicians.
