The police raided a hotel on MG Road where the party was held after getting a tip. Siddhanth’s sample was said to be one of the six that came back positive. Police said that they didn’t know if these people took drugs before they went to the party or if they did it at the hotel.

ANI wrote, “Actor Shraddha Kapoor’s brother Siddhanth Kapoor was detained during a police raid at a rave party in a Bengaluru hotel, last night. He is among the 6 people allegedly found to have consumed drugs: Bengaluru Police.”

The Kapoor family was apparently unaware of the hotel where Siddhanth was staying. The Bengaluru Police confirmed that Siddhanth Kapoor was among the six individuals suspected of drug use.”Siddhanth Kapoor has tested positive for drugs. He has been brought to Ulsoor Police Station,” Dr. Bheemashankar S. Guled, DCP of Bengaluru’s East division, informed ANI.
