Thandie Newton discusses her on-screen kiss with Co-star Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise may be a Hollywood heartthrob, but his Mission Impossible 2 co-star Thandie Newton was reportedly unable to impress him with their kiss. The actor’s most recent film was Top Gun: Maverick, which was a box office success. Within two weeks of its debut, it had surpassed the half-billion-dollar threshold.

Despite the release of Chris Pratt’s Jurassic World Dominion, the film has generated $608 million worldwide and shows no signs of slowing down. It’s difficult to think the actor will be 60 years old shortly after witnessing all of his death-defying feats.

Returning to the subject, Cruise’s Mission Impossible co-actress Thandie Newton described what it was like to kiss a celebrity. According to Elle, Newton despised their on-screen kiss and even referred to it as “icky.”  she admitted.
However, the Mission: Impossible star clarified that it wasn’t because Tom Cruise is a lousy kisser, but rather because sharing a kiss while filming a scene is technically challenging. “It’s so clinical,” Thandie Newton observed, ” you’re thinking more about whether or not you’re squashing him than kissing him,” Thandie Newton said.

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise is now enjoying the success of his latest film. He, on the other hand, will not be taking a long vacation because he is now working on Mission Impossible 7 and 8, which will be released in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
