Charles Siebert, the stage-trained actor who played the snobbish Dr. Stanley Riverside II on the CBS drama Trapper John, M.D. for seven seasons, has died. He was 84 years old when he died.
On the big screen, Siebert appeared in films including The Other Side of Midnight (1977), Blue Sunshine (1977), Coma (1978), and Norman Jewison’s… And Justice for All (1979), All Night Long (1981), White Water Summer (1987), and Eight Men Out (1989) are among the films he has directed (1988).

In 1987, Siebert was hired as Hayley Mills’ husband on the NBC pilot Good Morning, Miss Bliss; however, his character was cut when the show was taken up by the Disney Channel and became Saved by the Bell.
