Hugh Grant has stated that the United Kingdom possesses “the worst Home Secretary in British history.” The scenes at the London airport were described as “disgraceful and barbaric.”According to the media, some passengers waited two hours at the major London airport’s border check to collect their luggage.

Hugh Grant criticized the current Home Secretary, Priti Patel, through Twitter on Tuesday evening, revealing that he was one of the thousands affected by the travel mayhem.

Hugh shared a photo of lengthy lines at Heathrow Airport immigration with his 8,11,110 followers and stated, “Dear Visitors to the UK, I apologize for the way you are treated on arrival. Terminal 3 Heathrow just now was a disgrace and inhumane. I’m afraid we have the worst Home Secretary in British history.”

Hugh Grant elaborated on his statement when a fellow Twitter user called him a “half-wit actor” and said that private enterprises, not the government, are responsible for the long lines.

“It’s a queue for immigration control. Which is staffed by and run by the Home Office,” Grant replied to his critic. “We’re not allowed to call Brexiteers thick but it’s a struggle sometimes.”
