After his performance in New York City’s Madison Square Park, Machine Gun Kelly sneaked into an afterparty to celebrate, but things quickly turned bloody when he smashed a glass on his forehead while playing there.

The Emo Girl artist explained why he broke the glass during a recent appearance on Seth Meyers’ show. Meyers recalled that Kelly had hurt his hand after performing at the VMAs during his previous appearance on the show.
Machine Gun Kelly the rapper expressed his feelings about the situation by saying: “Yeah, I’m going to start having doctors around me every time I see Seth Meyers on my schedule.” While describing how he was feeling after the incident, the rapper said, “There are censors, right? I feel like s**t,”
When asked about what occurred at the afterparty, Kelly only stated, “You know when you clink a champagne glass with a fork to kind of [get people’s attention]? Yeah, well, I didn’t have a fork. So I just clinked it on my head.” Meyers joked and added, “You know, in medicine, they call that ‘asking for it,'” as Kelly burst out laughing. The rapper also chimed in the fun and continued, “Yeah, so I had a serious case of that last night.”

For those who are unaware, the rapper posted multiple pictures from the day on his Instagram account on Wednesday, adding pictures of his bloodied face to the thread and captioning the post, “NYC you’re my bloody valentine.”
