Nikki Bella opens up about her ‘traumatizing’ split with John Cena

• Bella is engaged to Russian Dancing With the Stars’ pro Artem Chigvintsev.

• During a chat with ET, the pro wrestler shared that the decision to break her engagement was not an easy task. 

Nikki Bella and John Cena talked about their split in 2018. Bella is going to marry Artem Chigvintsev, who is on Dancing with the Stars. In Vancouver, Cena got remarried to Shay Shariatzadeh.

During an interview with ET, the pro wrestler said that breaking off her engagement was not an easy choice. Bella had instigated their divorce after six years together and almost a year of engagement. “You almost wish it was horrible because it’s so much simpler to walk away,” she said. “It’s so much harder to walk away when it’s lovely.” She went on to say of her failed romance, “I think a lot of women get into this scenario where it’s like, ‘I love this person, but I don’t know whether it’s appropriate for my life,’ and that’s a terrible thing.”
