The first song by Janhvi Kapoor from the movie Good Luck Jerry is now out. The fast-paced song, called “Mo Mor,” shows Janhvi’s character Jerry doing everything she can to get her mom to the hospital and a big bag of drugs to its destination, but there are a lot of roadblocks. She takes Deepak Dobriyal’s matador, dances in a baaraat, fights with police officers, and dodges gunshots on her way.

Mor Mor is sung by Deedar Kaur, Gurlej Akhtar, Vivek Hariharan, and Parag Chhabra. Parag composed the music, and Raj Shekhar wrote the lyrics. Sharing the song on Instagram, Janhvi wrote, “Woh jitni dikhti hai, utni hai nahi… Samjhe? (She doesn’t look like what she is)?

Janhvi plays Jaya Kumari, also known as Jerry. She is an immigrant from Bihar who becomes a drug dealer in Punjab to pay for her mother’s treatment for stage 2 cancer. Good Luck Mita Vashisht, Neeraj Sood, Sushant Singh, and Saurabh Sachdeva also have roles in the movie Jerry.

On July 29, the movie will come out on Disney+ Hotstar. It is a copy of the Tamil movie Kolamaavu Kokila, which came out in 2018 and starred Nayanthara and Yogi Babu. It was written by Pankaj Matta, and Siddharth Sengupta is in charge of the direction.

Janhvi recently said in an interview that she hopes the upcoming crime comedy will help people see her as more than a “bholi” or “bechari.” “People have put me in this mental box with ‘bholi si hai,”shaant,’ and ‘bechari'” (innocent, quiet, helpless). Maybe it’s the way I make people feel. It might also be because of the movies I’ve made.”

She added, “I wanted to try my hand at comedy. I was so pumped to do it in this film. It’s not like I have witty one-liners in the film, something I really want to do. But Good Luck Jerry is more situational.”
