Tom Cruise’s Top Gun Maverick has been a tremendous financial success. According to the media, he was paid $100 million to reprise the role of Maverick. In 1986, the budget for the original Top Gun film was only $15 million. However, it appears that the actor will accept a sum between $12 million and $14 million for Mission Impossible 7 and 8.
