Vaani Kapoor is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie Shamshera co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt.

Recently, the actress has been very busy promoting the movie. She has also been killing the fashion game while doing this. She has recently sported a variety of scene-stealing clothes, from printed co-ord sets to gorgeous suits. Vaani, meantime, posted a series of images wearing a stunning white transparent saree on her Instagram account on Wednesday.

In the photos, the diva wore a chic white saree and looked stunning in a straightforward yet elegant update of the six yards. She wore the saree with a matching, seductive bralette blouse, which gave her outfit more oomph.

Vaani chose a simple styling approach for the look and accessorised with a pair of dramatic earrings. She kept her makeup simple and in muted colours. The diva finished the appearance with a stylish bun.

Earlier, talking about her role in the film, Vaani had said, “I play the character of Sona, the most sought-after travelling performer of India in the 1800s. Sona has a strong willpower, she’s confident, a go-getter yet has her own emotional vulnerabilities. She’s definitely one of the most refreshing characters I have played on screen.” Further, on teaming up with Ranbir, she called him ‘a powerhouse of talent’ and said that he is a very special actor and also her personal favorite.

The events of Shamshera take place in the fictional city of Kaza, where a cruel authoritarian general named Shuddh Singh imprisons, enslaves, and tortures a warrior tribe (Sanjay Dutt). This is the tale of Shamshera (Ranbir Kapoor), a man who was first sold into slavery, then rose up the ranks to become a tribe’s legend.

The movie, directed by Karan Malhotra, is scheduled for July 22, 2022, releases in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Ranbir’s 2018 film, Sanju, was released in theatres four years ago, and Shamshera is his first movie since then.
