She went on to say, “You know that disrespect can start with something as simple as a joke, and you don’t even realise it. It starts as “Arey wo toh aisa hi karta hai…arey wo toh aise hi karti hai…arey isko thodi na samajh aayega”. After a while, it stops being funny. You want to say something, and if you can’t, there is a serious problem. If you start to think, “I really want to tell you something, but I can’t because it would make things worse,” don’t.

“There is a problem if you are afraid to be yourself in front of someone, no matter how good, bad, or ugly you are. When you’re in a relationship, you should feel safe and accepted. Shefali Shah said, “It’s good, but you shouldn’t worry about it. Just let it go.”
