Tatiana Maslany comments about ‘She Hulk: Attorney at Law. ‘The newest Marvel Comics character to receive a TV series treatment is “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.”

Jen Walters, played by Tatiana, struggles to accept her Hulk-like superpowers and prefers to carry on with her life as a successful lawyer.
Maslany, though, hopes that when Marvel fans start watching it on Thursday on Disney+, they won’t think of it as “the female superhero programme.”

She asked Reuters in a virtual interview, “Why do we like bash it over the head that it’s like a female series or whatever?” Even when she’s in a fighting mode, the very thought of her is terrifying, she continued.

In various scenes from the programme, She-Hulk is criticised for her very presence by male online trolls or members of the media.

Maslany’s character receives Hulk powers from her cousin Bruce Banner, who also serves as a superhero mentor and is played by Mark Ruffalo as the original Hulk and an Avenger. She is also given control over the superpowers part of her legal company, which enables the programme to include numerous Marvel Universe cameos.

The thing I found funniest, kind of most engaging, and compelling about the show was like just seeing Jen at a family dinner or like trying to learn to swipe-date, said actress Tatiana Maslany. “To me, it’s the like really kind of mundane, human moments that we get to experience with somebody who has superpowers that make it so special,” she said.
