The ‘line in the sand with no return’ that Prince Harry’s betrayal of Queen Elizabeth draws
Prince Harry warned that his betrayal of Queen Elizabeth would draw “a line in the sand” and prevent a “phoenix moment.”
Royal commentator Daniela Elser made this assertion in a recent media post.
According to what she stated there, “If you take Bower and Kay’s statements together, then it is looking increasingly likely that the apparent perma-displeased Prince will be taking no punches on the page when it comes to his family and the monarchy.”
The implication is that his memoir could be a heinous betrayal of her Majesty, even if he only speaks the most adoring and flattering words about his grandmother herself.
“Should Harry devote a significant portion of his book to criticizing certain members of the family and various pinstriped officials who operate the royal dog and pony show, it would still be considered an attack on the woman who is the head of both the House of Windsor and the monarchical institution.”
As a result of “going down this way” and being unable to “get back to any sense,” Prince Harry will face problems, she added.
If Harry takes this course of action, it would mark a turning point with a very distinct “before” and a radically different “after.”
She acknowledged before drawing a conclusion that it was “difficult to see how he could ever go back in any sense”.
