Prior to Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in June, the Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan Markle made an unexpected trip to Windsor.

Harry and Meghan were to meet father Charles and Camilla for an outreach, as per the agenda for their meeting.

Harry offered to bring a mediator to facilitate conversations before the meeting, but Camilla turned down his offer.

Harry went in with hugs and the best of intentions and claimed he wanted to clear the air, a family friend told author Katie Nichols.

He even proposed that they try to resolve their differences through mediation, which left Camilla spitting into her tea and Charles confused.

She explained to Harry that it was absurd and that they would settle their differences as a family.
