There are several cast members who support a Malcolm in the Middle comeback, including Frankie Muniz!

Bryan Cranston has been attempting to bring the ensemble of the Emmy-winning sitcom together for a reunion, according to Muniz, who played the show’s lead character as a teen.

The actor who portrays Muniz’s on-screen father Hal, Bryan Cranston, is “sort of heading drafting the script and getting everything rolling,” Muniz, 36, told Fox News. “There may therefore be something.”

Muniz responded that he “would be down, 100 percent” when asked if he would participate in the project.

I was simply so happy to be working on a program while I was on Malcolm, he said. “However, in the same vein, after the show finished, I briefly quit the industry. I began pursuing other endeavours. In motor racing, I was. I made the band. I was travelling everywhere. I started some businesses and had a lot of incredible life experiences, all of which have allowed me to think about my experiences in the present and to be incredibly grateful for them.”

From 2000 until 2006, Malcolm in the Middle, starring Muniz as the title role, aired for seven seasons. Erik Per Sullivan, Justin Berfield, Jane Kaczmarek, and Christopher Masterson also starred.

The Wilkersons are a dysfunctional family of six with a variety of personality types, including a studious son, an overbearing mother, an immature father, and a troublemaking sibling. The series tracked their life.

Muniz claimed that despite the show’s more than 20-year history, he hadn’t properly recognized its caliber until recently.

“Of course, I was a child when we were filming the show. We produced 151 episodes over seven seasons. Although I didn’t actually watch the show when it was aired, my wife [Paige Price] and I have since watched it together. We watched each of the 151 episodes “In his explanation to Fox News. “Wow, that’s what we were making,” I realized.

“I can set myself off from participating in it and enjoying it as a viewer. I’m curious to know what the family is doing “Added he. But I’m not sure; we’ll see what transpires.

The group was previously gathered by Cranston, 66, for a televised reunion in 2020, albeit a comeback has not yet been officially confirmed.

At the time, he stated in the announcement: “If Hal had been forced to stay inside with his five knucklehead boys on #MalcolmintheMiddle, can you imagine how crazy he would have become? I find it amusing to consider that.”

The cast could return for a resurrection, according to Cranston, who expressed his aspirations to E! News the same year, “if for no other reason than I miss those folks like crazy.”

He continued, “I’d love to. “There is a chance. We want to start debating whether it’s possible to construct a coherent narrative about that family ten or twelve years from now. It’s not unusual.”
