Victoria Beckham and David Beckham
Victoria Beckham is proud of her husband David Beckham, who waited in line for 13 hours to pay respects to Queen Elizabeth II.
According to the 48-year-old fashion designer, it was a ‘humbling’ experience for the renowned footballer.
Monday night on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the former Spice Girl was asked about David’s experience.
Victoria Beckham acknowledged that David Beckham replied, “Well, they offered him to skip the line, but it meant so much to him to be there, and he felt so honored and humbled to be there,”
“And he said it was an incredible, incredible thing to do and something that he’s so glad he did.”
Andy Cohen, 54, stated in response to Beckham, “I thought that was such a beautiful thing.”
David Beckham wore a flat cap and a suit to pay his respects to the late king last month, along with thousands of other mourners. In addition to purchasing doughnuts and posing for photographs as the line moved slowly along the south bank of the Thames, he endeared himself to the crowd.
