King Charles not to attend COP27 UN Conference on Climate Change

Saturday, Buckingham Palace stated that King Charles will not attend the COP27 United Nations Conference on Climate Change.

The British media stated, citing sources, that the decision was reached jointly with Prime Minister Liz Truss.

The prime minister reportedly advised the King not to attend the ceremony.

Charles had already indicated that he would cease his environmental efforts upon becoming monarch.
