At the LUX Style Awards 2022 red carpet celebration, actress Humaima Malick paid a special tribute to Anjuman Shaheen, a legendary star of Lollywood.
The Ishq Junoon Deewangi actress had an outstanding performance in the Punjabi song We Sone Deya Kangna from Anjuman’s movie Chan Varyam.
The 67-year-old actress received the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from Unilever’s Chairman at the presentation.
Anjuman rose to fame in the 1980s and 1990s as one of the most well-liked actresses in the Punjabi film industry, appearing in films such as Wadey Ki Zanjeer, Sher Khan, Chan Varyam, Jeedar, and others.
She is most known for co-starring in lead roles in non-Punjabi films with notable actors Waheed Murad, Mohammad Ali, and Nadeem. She has also co-starred in lead roles with the famous Punjabi film great Sultan Rahi.
