James Corden was all smiles as he and his wife Julia Carey stepped out after being criticized for stealing other people’s jokes.

Last night, the host of the Late Late Late Show walked the red carpet for the debut of his new Amazon Prime video series, Mammals.

Ironically, his new drama is about a Michelin-starred chef whose life implodes when he learns devastating revelations about his pregnant wife.

Previously, Corden was barred from a prestigious New York restaurant for allegedly being impolite to the workers.

Even while the restaurant crisis looks to be behind him, the Gavin and Stacey star has been involved in another scandal this week.

The 44-year-old actor and comedian was accused of stealing jokes from both Noel Fielding and Ricky Gervais.

Even though he wore a smile during the event, the tension of the previous several weeks was evident.

His hands were depicted as crimson and sore, as if he had been nervously chewing his nails.

The Fielding allegations surface only one day after Corden apologized for nearly duplicating one of Ricky’s jokes “word for word” in a recent episode of his US television program.

His joke referenced Elon Musk’s recent takeover of the social media network Twitter.
