Richa Chadha stole the show when she wed her longtime partner Ali Fazal in a lavish wedding. The wedded pair is currently ecstatic because their wedding photos and videos were well received by fans.

After tweeting about the Galwan issue, the actress recently made the news once more and found herself in the middle of a controversy. Following that, Akshay Kumar tweeted that he was “sad” to see Richa’s remark.

Kay Kay Menon, a well-known actor, criticized Richa’s remark as well. But today, even another well-known figure, Prakash Raj, used his Twitter account to defend Richa and criticize Akshay.

Not only in the South Indian film business but also in Bollywood, Prakash Raj is well-known. Prakash Raj responded to the Padman actor’s criticism of Richa Chadha’s Galwan tweet on his Twitter account immediately after Akshay Kumar did. “Didn’t expect this from you @akshaykumar ..having said that @RichaChada is more relevant to our country than you sir.#justasking.”

He wrote in one of the tweets. Richa Chadha was backed by Prakash, who tweeted, “Yes we stand with you @RichaChadha… we understand what you meant.”

After responding to an army commander’s remarks on reclaiming Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) by making a reference to the Galwan battle with Chinese forces in 2020, Richa has received a significant amount of anger on social media. Her remark was criticized as “shameful” by various politicians and internet users.

In response to Lt. General. Upendra Dwivedi’s claim that the Indian Army is prepared to carry out orders like reclaiming Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, she tweeted, “Galwan Say Hi.” On Twitter, Akshay had responded to the same. “Hurts to see this,” he wrote. Nothing should ever cause us to be unappreciative of our armed forces. Aaj hum hain toh woh hain.”

The actress offered a public apology on Twitter after she was called out on social media. Richa said that she didn’t mean to upset or insult anyone in her statement.

“Even though it can never be my intention in the slightest, if the three words that are the subject of a controversy have offended or hurt anyone, I sincerely apologize. I also say that it would sadden me if even unintentionally, my words had caused this feeling in my brothers in the fauj, of which my own Nanaji was an illustrious member. She went on to say that during the Indo-China War in the 1960s, her grandfather, a lieutenant colonel, was shot in the leg. My Mamaji was a paratrooper, she continued. It runs in my family. I can understand how it feels when a son sacrifices his life or even gets hurt defending the country, which is made up of individuals just like us. For me, it is a sensitive subject.
