The best times Kate Middleton wore polka dots this year
Kate Middleton appears to have a thing for polka dots! This year, the Princess of Wales, 40, has incorporated the cheerful trend into her wardrobe more frequently. She was most recently seen at the Reading Ukrainian Community Centre wearing a navy and yellow shirt dress that matched Ukraine’s national colors, a perfect example of “flag” dressing.
Kate looked sophisticated in tawny brown and white polka dots at Lambrook School’s preview day. The collar and bodice buttons on her shirt dress sweetly complemented the same details on Princess Charlotte’s summer uniform.
In July, the princess looked stunning in a tea-length navy dress with white polka dots and a sailor-style collar at Wimbledon.
Charlotte and Kate teamed in bold polka dots a few weeks later in another matching moment.
Charlotte kindly wished the English women’s soccer team success in the Euro 2020 final, as shown in a video uploaded on social media alongside Prince William. The young princess wore a navy and white tee similar to her mother’s Wimbledon ensemble.
At her first Wimbledon event of the season, Kate was served a royal rewear. The senior royal was first seen in the blue and white polka dot belted dress by Alessandra Rich at Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee event a few weeks before.
Kate’s conscientious choice even heeded Wimbledon’s sustainable theme in a full circle moment.
The princess wore a feminine Alessandra Rich gown with brown polka dots to the Royal Ascot in June. She completed the look with a brown hat with white flowers and pearl drop earrings once owned by Princess Diana.
