Vidhu Vinod Chopra to produce his next movie “12th Fail” starring Vikrant Massey

The upcoming movie from producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra will be titled 12th Fail and will star Vikrant Massey.

The upcoming film by Chopra will be based on the lives of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi. The film will not be a biopic, but will instead focus on the power of one individual. It will focus on how uprightness might produce a seismic shift.

The film starring Vikrant Massey will be the first ever to be shot in New Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar, which is famed for producing generations of bureaucrats.

The producer of PK discussed his impending picture, stating, “If an honest person is in a position of power, the world can truly change. I have seen that with countless IAS and IPS officers I have come across in the process of writing this film. ’12th Fail’ is a tribute to all of them. If this film can inspire even 10 more officers to strive for honesty, 10 more students to strive for excellence, I will believe I have succeeded.”

Massey, who gained to prominence for his roles in Mirzapur and Haseen Dilruba, commented on the film, stating, “It’s the tragedy of our times that honesty and sincerity are a rarity. This film is a dedication to all the students who dream, to all the honest officers who are the backbone of our country and constitution.”
