Alyssa Scott shares she cannot believe she is still pregnant

Alyssa Scott is prepared for the birth of her child.

The model, who is expecting a child with Nick Cannon, updated her Instagram followers on her pregnancy and labour induction efforts on December 9.

“Well, quick bumpdate—still pregnant,” Alyssa explained. “I cannot believe it.”

Alyssa noted that she recently got a membrane sweep—something that helped before during her pregnancy with her now 4-year-old daughter Zeela.

“I got swept a few days ago thinking that would get things going, but it didn’t,” she continued. “It worked really well with Zeela. I had her that night but here we are.” Alyssa joked of her expectant newborn, “This is gonna be a big baby.”

Now Alyssa is looking towards other methods and good vibes from viewers to help get the process going. She added, “I’ve officially been pregnant all year. Send me some delivery energy guys.”

Additionally, it looks like Instagram people gave Alyssa some advice in addition to the energy she needed. She posted video of herself following her daughter on a bike while “doing the one legged curb walk & some of the other suggestions tooo!”

However, just because Alyssa is prepared to close this chapter on her pregnancy doesn’t mean she isn’t savouring every second.

“Even with the discomfort and anticipation… I have enjoyed this pregnancy more that I can say,” she wrote. “I feel so blessed to be given this gift.”

Alyssa first made her pregnancy known to the world in October, nearly a year after her and Nick’s son Zen, who was just five months old when he went away from brain cancer in December 2021, suffered the same fate. Along with his ex-wife Mariah Carey, Nick is also the father of 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, 5-year-old Golden “Sagon,” a 23-month-old daughter named Powerful Queen, a 2-month-old son named Rise Messiah, a 17-month-old twin named Zion and Zillion, a newborn daughter named Beautiful Zeppelin, a 5-month-old son named Legendary Love, a 2-month-old daughter named Onyx Ice,

Alyssa thought back on the death of her late son in February and how her love for him was unending.

“I know you love me, Zen. You are everywhere. I see you in everything beautiful. When I hear a baby giggle, when I see children playing. You are there,” she wrote on Instagram Feb. 13. “My last words to you were ‘I’m here, I love you.’ That will ring true until the end of time.”
