Andrew Tate Detained on Suspicion of Human Trafficking
Andrew Tate was arrested on suspicion of various offences, according to Romania’s DIICOT.
Andrew and Tristan were detained on December 29 and jailed for 24 hours. Prosecutors urged a Bucharest court to extend the arrest order on December 30, an AP official said. Later that day, Bolla would decide.
DIICOT stated two British and two Romanian individuals were arrested. DIICOT and the Bucharest Organized Crime Brigade investigated five homes in an investigation into human trafficking, rape, and organized crime group creation. Prosecutors say the group molested six persons sexually.
The four people “seem to have started an organized crime group whose goal was to find, house, and use women by forcing them to make pornographic content that would be sold on specialized websites.” “They would have made a lot of money.”
In the statement, neither Andrew nor Tristan were named. A lawyer for the Tate brothers, though, said
Greta may have reacted to the detention news by tweeting, “This is what happens when you don’t recycle your pizza boxes.” Bolla later denied that Andrew’s arrest was caused by an address on the pizza box. She told the Associated Press that the idea was “funny but no.”
Andrew says of himself on his website, which is linked to in his verified Twitter bio, “I grew up poor, but now I have a lot of money. I show people who deserve it how to make money in the modern world.”
