‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ releases soundtrack and original score
‘Avatar: The Way of Water‘ global release is still just a few days away as December 16 approaches. It has been announced that the Avatar: The Way of Water Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is now accessible on all music streaming services, just in time for the much anticipated James Cameron sequel.
The Grammy Award-winning composer Simon Franglen, who collaborated with the late Jame Horner on the original Avatar movie, will provide the music for the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, which will have 22 tracks and clocks in at a whopping three hours.
Franglen also worked with Horner on the first Avatar movie. The music for “Pandora-The World of Avatar,” which debuted at Walt Disney World in Florida in May 2017 and is currently working on the next Avatar sequel set to debut in 2024, was likewise produced and further composed by Franglen.
The Weeknd wrote and performed the exclusive original song “Nothing is Lost (You Give Me Strength),” which was produced by Swedish House Mafia and Franglen and is included on the Avatar: The Way of Water Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.
The availability of the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack on vinyl, which can already be pre-ordered, was also confirmed for early 2023.
The original score for Avatar: The Way of Water, which will include 11 extra score cues from the movie that aren’t included in the original motion picture soundtrack, will be released early the following week on Tuesday, December 20, along with the original motion picture soundtrack.
