Charlotte and George’s Christmas concert gesture disproves Meghan
The Royal Family was seen in public shows of affection at the Royal Family Christmas concert, following the release of the final three episodes of Harry & Meghan on Netflix.
With a heartfelt gesture at the Royal Family Christmas show, Princess Charlotte and Prince George proved their Aunty Meghan Markle wrong.
After Meghan slammed the family’s “formality,” the youngsters were seen kissing and cuddling their grandfather and grandmother, King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla.
Royal editor Chris Ship said: “The senior Royal Family chose tonight to put on a show of unity – and even some public displays of affection between father/son and grandad/grandchildren. (You might even spot one of those hugs that Meghan said Brits find so ‘jarring’?) I’m sure it’s all just coincidence.”
Meghan took aim at her sister-in-law, the Princess of Wales, earlier this month during her Netflix docuseries, stating she was “surprised” by the behind-the-scenes formality of members of the royal family.
She recounted a dinner gathering with Prince William and Kate in the early days of her relationship with Harry, when the two spouses shared a Kensington Palace apartment.
“When Will and Kate came over, and I met her for the first time, they came over for dinner, I remember I was in ripped jeans and I was barefoot,” she revealed in episode two of the six-part Harry & Meghan Netflix series.

“I was a hugger. I’ve always been a hugger, I didn’t realise that that is really jarring for a lot of Brits.
“I guess I started to understand very quickly that the formality on the outside carried through on the inside.
“There is a forward-facing way of being, and then you close the door and go ‘You can relax now’, but that formality carries over on both sides. And that was surprising to me.”
