Jacqueline Fernandez compared Nora Fatehi to Katrina Kaif

Even though they are currently involved in a legal dispute, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi once got along well. When Nora first began her career in showbiz in 2016, she participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’s ninth season of the talent competition. When Nora competed, Jacqueline, one of the judges, would frequently compliment Nora on her dance abilities.

Nora participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 shortly after becoming well-known for her stint on Bigg Boss 9 the year before. Nora impressed the judges at her audition, especially Jacqueline Fernandez. The actor said, “My goodness! You are really hot. Your performance was extremely hot. More than hot actually, you are a good performer. You are very hardworking and it really shows. You will go very far and I am really looking forward to it.” A flustered Nora responded, “It means a lot coming from you.”

The good mood lasted the whole season. In the later part of the season, on the special episode about Bollywood, Nora did a belly dance to the song “Mashallah” from “Ek Tha Tiger.” Katrina Kaif was in the original dance. After her act, Jacqueline said that Nora was a better belly dancer than Katrina. This made Nora cover her face with her hands because she was shocked. Even on stage, Jacqueline gave Nora a hug. Nora didn’t win the show, but she became more well-known because of it.
