Kate Middleton honors Queen Elizabeth at Christmas.

In a new recording, the Princess of Wales says Christmas was important for the late Queen and her family. “Her Majesty held Christmas close to her heart as a time to bring people together and express empathy and compassion,” Kate, 40, says.

She spoke the day before the Dec. 15 service at Westminster Abbey. The Princess of Wales held the thank-you party for the second year. Catherine Zeta-Jones narrates together at Christmas on Dec. 24. Kate adds, “Last year’s gathering reminded me what I enjoy most about Christmas: seeing people come together, celebrate, and reflect on the year.”

Princess Kate says they invited hundreds of “inspiring personalities” They “showcase the strength of connectedness and communal values,” Kate explains, allowing us to continue Her Majesty’s practice of honoring people who have helped others. Her Majesty’s legacy has inspired many.

The choir from St. Mary’s Ukrainian School in London performed at the concert. Along with her show, Kensington Palace shared her pitch letter.
