Kim Kardashian opens about facing difficulties in Balenciaga scandal

The 42-year-old reality star appeared on Angie Martinez’s show Wednesday. Balenciaga’s ads were divisive.

“Everyone told me to promote Balenciaga. Kardashian, podcast host. “‘Wait.'” Nope. I’m clueless.

The ads featuring kids with inappropriately clad teddy bears sparked criticism on social media, and many blamed the Skims designer for not speaking up sooner.

The “Kardashians” star stated she “spoke out” when she “saw what was happening online”

The mother of four said on Twitter that she hadn’t spoken out because she “wanted to talk to their team”

Kardashian said that she was “shaken by the disturbing images” and that “any attempt to normalise any kind of child abuse should have no place in our society, period.”

“But I didn’t say ‘F—k you, Balenciaga. People were upset when I said ‘That’s it,’ she told Martinez. “They’ll be upset if I don’t speak up. If I speak or don’t stop, they’ll be upset.

“This is horrible and unsettling,” Kardashian remarked. “If they don’t hear what they want, you’re out.”

“No matter what you do, you can’t win,” the fashion and beauty firm owner remarked. I’ll remain me.”

Kardashian wore a helmeted Balenciaga dress that made her appear like an extraterrestrial and a warning tape-covered bodysuit this year. She’s participated in their commercial campaigns, but she’s stopped wearing their clothes and apparently declined a future campaign.

Kardashian said she’s “cool mentally and emotionally” and doesn’t let criticism of her family and others’ opinions upset her.

“I’m robot-like. “Half-robot,” she said.
