Lindsie Chrisley hasn’t seen her parents since their fraud conviction, but that will soon change. Lindsie, 33, hasn’t. “Since the sentencing occurred just before Thanksgiving and emotions were high, I had to pick between my daughter and my son. Thanksgiving at home.”

Lindsie’s “initial plans” included a vacation to Nashville. She changed her plan.

“But I wanted to give them space and respect out of respect for their faith,” she explains. “I’ll be with my parents for Christmas.”

Lindsie says that until they can see each other in person, she has been “spending time with my parents over the phone.” Todd, who is 53, and Julie, who is 49, were both found guilty in June and given their sentences in November. A judge put Todd in jail for 12 years and gave him 16 months of probation. Julie got 7 years in jail and 16 months of probation.

The longtime couple was recently told to show up in Florida prison on January 17. Todd and Julie have already filed an appeal, but they will have to stay in prison until the process is over.

Lindsie says that family is the most important thing during times like these. “We’re only thinking about family right now as a group. We’re not really going too far from that, “she tells you. “Family is the main thing.”
